Saturday afternoon.

A new cafe down the street, an iced latte, delicious olive+mushroom+tomato thin crust pizza, good conversation with a sweet friend and flower picking.

Telaviv.

Last Sunday we took a train to Telaviv. We started off the day at a bus station so big and full of random confusing little shops that we couldn't even find where the buses were. Strolled around Old Jaffa. Walked a few miles to the train station and some restaurants nearby where we had a ridiculously expensive tiny meal (greek salad for me) and iced coffee's, for lunch. Found a very European-like street with cute little shops that sold, once again, ridiculously expensive (but oh so cute!) one of a kind knick knacks. And ended the day at Max Brenner with more iced coffees and pounds upon pounds of creamy mouth watering variations of chocolate.

Your children...

(My sweet little brother)
"Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you, they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
Which you cannot visit, even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth...
Let your bending in the archer's hands be for happiness."

Rollercoaster days.

1. I love this picture. It is clean, simple, bright, bold, delicate, fresh and is currently my desktop background.
2. Today was a roller coaster of a day. The workday was busy and consisted of a healthy combination of hard work and laughter.
3. Dinner included lattes, fresh veggies, labneh, zataar and warm brown bread at my favourite cafe in Akka, Cafe Razzaz. The weather was perfect and the view of the sea from the cafe was truly perfection.
4. The evening continued with an incredibly moving talk by a special individual who always speaks with an immense amount of love, warmth and purpose. My heart and soul was uplifted and filled with joy.
5. I am physically exhausted and looking forward to a slow and relaxing weekend involving tea, reading, yoga and sunshine.

Thank you.

It is truly ridiculous how easy it is to get wrapped up in the day to day challenges of life and forget how incredibly lucky we are. I am so thankful, for you, and for the joy and light you bring into my life. I hope that I am able to live every day of my life with gratitude and deep appreciation for blessings I have been given. Thank you from the depths of my heart.
